๐ง What is Blood Pressure?
Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries as your heart pumps. It is measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and shown with two numbers:
Systolic Pressure (Upper number): Pressure when the heart beats.
Diastolic Pressure (Lower number): Pressure when the heart rests between beats.
A normal blood pressure reading is 120/80 mmHg.
